Job summary

Missouri Baptist Medical Center is seeking a Night Shift Float Pool Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across multiple inpatient units. You’ll operate in a flexible, cross-trained environment, with opportunities to expand skills in ICU and the Emergency Department, all within a collaborative night shift team.

Requirements include 2+ years of acute care Med/Surg RN experience and eligibility for RN licensure. BSN preferred, ADN accepted if enrolled in BSN program.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of acute care Med/Surg RN experience (required)
• Ability to thrive in a flexible float environment
• Strong adaptability in variable clinical environments
• BSN preferred / ADN accepted if enrolled in a BSN program
• Initial 1st week will be a 5 day full-time training commitment to support your success

Responsibilities

• Promotes patient and family centered care in a healing environment.
• Educates patients and their families on illness management and post-treatment home care needs.
• Participates in activities that promote patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
• Develops, implements, and documents plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team.
• Proactively plans and communicates the plan of care across the continuum of care.
