Job summary

Missouri Baptist Medical Center is seeking a Night Shift Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN) with strong Med/Surg and Telemetry experience to join a flexible, growth-focused team.

This role offers cross-training opportunities in ICU and Emergency Department, self-scheduling, and a Magnet-recognized hospital culture. The Float Pool supports multiple inpatient units and emphasizes patient-centered care during night hours.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of acute care Med/Surg RN experience.
• Ability to thrive in a flexible float environment.
• Strong adaptability in variable clinical environments.
• BSN preferred; ADN accepted if enrolled in a BSN program.
• Initial 1st week will be a 5 day full-time training commitment.

Responsibilities

• Promotes patient and family centered care in a healing environment.
• Educates patients and their families on managing illness or injury, including post treatment home care and medication administration.
• Participates in activities that promote patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
• Participates in professional development.
• Develops, implements, and documents plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team.
