Job summary

Missouri Baptist Medical Center, part of BJC HealthCare, is seeking a Night Shift Float Pool RN to apply strong Med/Surg and Telemetry skills across inpatient units. This flexible role supports patient care needs during night hours and may include mid-shift transitions.

You’ll have opportunities to cross-train in ICU and Emergency Department, join a collaborative night shift team, and advance through the BJC RN Career Ladder and related growth programs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of acute care Med/Surg RN experience required.
• Comfortable working in a flexible float environment.
• BSN preferred; ADN accepted if enrolled in a BSN program.

Responsibilities

• Promotes patient- and family-centered care in a healing environment.
• Educates patients and families on disease management and post-treatment home care.
• Develops and documents plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team.
• Ensures effective communication of the plan of care across the continuum of care.
