Job summary

University Health Truman Medical Center in Kansas City, MO, seeks a Clinical Nurse RN for the Inpatient Float Pool. This part-time night shift (6:45 PM–7:15 AM) offers 24 hours per week and a collaborative care environment.

You will assess patients, plan, perform, delegate and evaluate nursing care, supervise students, and stay compliant with Missouri Nurse Practice Act and regulations. MO RN license and BCLS are required; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Current state of Missouri license as a Registered Nurse.
• Current BCLS certification.
• Preferred: BSN or equivalent specialty degree.
• Preferred: RN Specialty Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients based on their diagnosis and care needs.
• Plan, perform, delegate, and evaluate nursing care using your expert skills.
• Work closely with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the best patient outcomes.
• Participate in committees, program evaluations, research, and education.
• Supervise and mentor students.
• Stay compliant with the Missouri Nurse Practice Act and all organizational and regulatory requirements.
