Job summary

Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus, MO is seeking a Float Pool Registered Nurse for 36 hours per week on the night shift. This role offers a premium sign-on bonus for Graduate and Experienced nurses, with opportunities to float to ED, ICU, TCU, PCU and other Med-Surg units based on experience.

The ideal candidate will have a nursing degree, active RN license (state or compact) and BLS certification, with a commitment to Mercy's mission and high standards of care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of nursing (ADN, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current RN license in the hiring state or a compact license.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association or by hire date.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the nursing process and Mercy Nursing Practice Model.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments and maintain patient rights and confidentiality.
• Maintain accountability and follow Mercy Service Standards and professional ethics.
