Job summary

Truman Medical Centers is seeking a Clinical Nurse RN for the Inpatient Float Pool. This part-time night shift (6:45 PM–7:15 AM) supports patient care across units, providing skilled nursing assessment, planning, and delegation.

The role includes mentoring students and contributing to education initiatives. Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, Missouri RN license, and BCLS certification; BSN preferred or an equivalent specialty.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assess patients based on their diagnosis and care needs.
• Plan, perform, delegate, and evaluate nursing care using your expert skills.
• Work closely with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the best patient outcomes.
• Participate in committees, program evaluations, research, and education.
• Supervise and mentor students.
• Stay compliant with the Missouri Nurse Practice Act and regulatory requirements.
