Job summary

Anchorage — Public Transportation is seeking a dedicated employee to perform daily cleaning and servicing of diesel and gasoline powered vehicles. The role requires a valid Alaska Class B CDL with passenger endorsement, no air brake restriction, and completion of a background check.

Shifts vary by seniority and include night work; 40 hours per week scheduled Monday through Sunday. A drug screen and medical exam are required prior to employment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Six months experience in cleaning and/or servicing (i.e. checking and replenishing vehicle fluids and light bulbs) various equipment.
• Must possess a valid State of Alaska Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with passenger endorsement and no air brake restriction at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning and servicing of diesel and gasoline powered vehicles and equipment.
• Refuel, clean, operate the bus wash machine, and make minor repairs.
