Alaska Marine Trucking, part of the Lynden family of companies, is seeking a night shift Mechanic in Juneau, Alaska. This full-time role offers family-friendly benefits, a competitive pay package, growth opportunities, and ample overtime.

Shift hours are 3:00pm–3:00am, Monday–Thursday, with a $3.00/hr shift differential. You will maintain heavy-duty equipment, perform major component swaps, and ensure DOT/FMCSA compliance, with comprehensive benefits and potential tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Maintenance on heavy-duty equipment (tractors, trailers, forklifts)
• Must possess TWIC or be able to obtain TWIC
• DOT/FMCSA compliance inspections
• Able to lift up to 50–100 pounds and work in varying conditions
• Willingness to travel short periods and work around moving parts

Responsabilités

• Provide maintenance on heavy-duty equipment such as tractors, trailers, and forklifts.
• Assist with major component swaps like hydraulic pumps, engines, and transmissions.
• Perform inspections in compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulations.
