Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read and understand safety rules, maintenance instructions, and procedures.
• Ability to read and speak English.
• Must be able to work ~50 hours per week including nights, holidays, and weekends.
• Must be supportive of producing high quality pellet feed.
• Willingness to learn and perform different feed mill areas.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays.
• Team-oriented with positive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs in all operator areas and maintain records.
• Operate equipment across all areas (computers, grinders, forklift).
• Prepare and maintain shift activity, production, sampling, and bag-dump reports.
• Regulate material flow to meet product specs.
• Perform daily feed, bulk, and micro-ingredient inventory.
• Maintain cleanliness and assist coworkers as needed.
• Maintain safety of personnel and assets.
• Acquire and maintain certifications (weigh master, forklift).
• Manage stock at batching and receiving areas.
• Comply with environmental laws and IPS/EMS policies.
• Report environmental issues to supervisor and follow emergency processes.
• Support continuous improvement under ISO22000 Feed Safety and Quality.
