Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in Mattawan, MI is seeking a General Maintenance Technician for the 3rd shift to maintain facilities, paint, drywall, plumbing, carpentry, and grounds. This hands-on role requires independence, safety awareness, and good customer service.

You will use hand and power tools, log work in CMMS, lift up to 50 lbs, and work Mon-Fri 10:30 PM–7:00 AM. High school diploma required; 1–2 years in facilities or related trades preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1–2 years of general maintenance or related trade experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of drywall, painting, plumbing, carpentry, and building repairs.
• Ability to safely operate hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout the facility.
• Paint, patch walls, ceilings, doors; finish work.
• Basic drywall repairs and surface prep.
• Basic plumbing repairs; fix leaks and fixtures.
• Minor carpentry and door hardware repairs.
• Litter removal, landscape support, snow removal, exterior upkeep.
• Maintain CMMS records and update work orders.
• Operate tools safely and document completed work.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
