Job summary

Avera Health is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Sioux Falls, SD to inspect, repair, and maintain facilities and equipment including buildings, grounds, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.

You will perform inspections, basic carpentry, PM scheduling, and respond to facility emergencies; evening shift 2:45pm-11:15pm with some night pay after 7:00pm; sign-on bonus for qualifying candidates.

Qualifications

• High School or GED equivalent and 3–6 months related experience and/or training.
• Drivers license valid.
• Boiler Operator license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs building inspections, replacing parts, cleaning, and overseeing heating and plumbing, outdoor grounds & landscaping, and snow & ice removal for a safe facility environment.
• Performs basic carpentry and maintenance including painting, remodeling, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
• Performs routine repair and maintenance on machines and equipment including beds, wheelchairs, kitchen equipment, furniture, and office equipment.

Three to Six Months Related Experience and/or Training

Drivers License - Licensing Board
