Job summary

City of Dover Recreation Department seeks a responsible individual for routine cleaning and general maintenance of city buildings and recreation facilities on weeknights, 7:00 pm to 1:00 am, 30 hours per week. Pay ranges from $17.55 to $25.39 per hour. Open until filled.

Qualifications

• Some knowledge of custodial methods, materials, and equipment.
• Some knowledge of general building repair and facility maintenance practices.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintains floors and carpets through sweeping, vacuuming, washing, and waxing.
• Empties trash and disposes of it properly.
• Keeps restrooms sanitary and stocked with supplies.
• Dusts and cleans offices and public areas; cleans surfaces.
