Job summary

Owens Realty Services is seeking a part-time General Cleaner in Daytona Beach to perform custodial duties for facilities up to 4,500–5,000 sq ft per hour. The role requires night hours (8 PM–12 AM) with a pay rate of $15.50 per hour.

Responsibilities include cleaning offices, restrooms, lobbies and common areas; stocking supplies; trash removal; and adhering to safety and PPE guidelines. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs all assigned tasks professionally reflecting company integrity.
• Cleans offices, lobbies, breakrooms, corridors, bathrooms, elevators and stairs.
• Cleans and sanitizes restrooms and stocks supplies.
• Cleans and dusts furniture, fixtures, windows, doors and related furnishings.
• Handles trash, recyclables, and replaces liners.
• Cleans telephones periodically using germicidal and cleaner disinfectants if applicable.
• Vacuums carpets and clears debris from traffic areas.
• Cleans switches, doors, and surfaces; polishes tables, benches, chairs and fixtures.
• Washes down and polishes equipment; removes cobwebs.
• Empties trash safely and schedules heavy items as needed.
• Secures areas with safety signs when mopping or performing hazardous duties.
• Locks/unlocks doors and turns off lights when unoccupied.
• Reports to work on time in uniform with badge and safety shoes.
• Identifies and reports safety hazards to supervisor.
• Follows PPE and infection control practices; handles bio-waste per procedures.
• Works a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Keeps carts and closets organized and secured; ensures cleanliness for next shift.
• Leaves equipment and cleaning materials ready for use.
• Completes additional duties as assigned.
