Job summary

QXO seeks a dedicated Machine Operator to safely produce quality products in a team setting. You will cross-train on lamination equipment, operate multiple manual machines, and ensure orders meet specifications.

Strong attention to safety and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required. Applicants should have at least 2 years in manufacturing, a high school diploma or GED, and may need a valid driver’s license if operating a company vehicle.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing work environment.
• Prior forklift experience is preferred.
• THIS IS A SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION
• A valid driver’s license may be required if operating a Company Vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Safely produce a quality product according to the customer’s work order in a team environment.
• Cross-train on various aspects of a lamination machine’s operation.
• Operate up to two types of manual equipment (e.g., router, bandsaw, pipe cover saw, etc.).
• Understand purchase orders and product descriptions to determine manufacturing requirements.
• Set up or change over the machine for new jobs and adjust blades or spray guns as needed.
• Ensure the machine produces the required dimensions and quality standards.
• Report quality or machine issues to the supervisor and follow safety procedures.
• Perform daily housekeeping and participate in safety training.
