Job summary

QXO, a leading builder products distributor, seeks a Production Associate to support cutting, assembly, and handling of materials in a fast-paced setting. You will read orders, measure materials, and ensure accurate, safe production with attention to quality and efficiency.

The role requires hands-on work with cutting tools and fabrication equipment, strong teamwork, and reliability. Ability to lift 70+ lbs and work flexible hours may be needed.

Qualifications

• Read a tape measure and take basic measurements accurately.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Handle hand tools and production equipment safely.
• Communicate clearly and work well in a team.
• Display a reliable work ethic and be punctual.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment to cut, shape, and prepare materials per specs.
• Read work orders and drawings to ensure accuracy.
• Measure, cut, and verify materials with basic tools.
• Inspect finished products for quality standards.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials.
• Maintain documentation for production and inventory.
• Keep workstations clean and safe, follow PPE policies.
• Support teammates to meet daily production goals.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
