Job summary

Quanex is seeking a Batch Off Operator for the 2:45pm-11:00pm shift. You will operate the batch-off and packaging of mixed compound, monitor production, and maintain quality through careful observation and safe machinery operation.

Requirements include 1+ years in manufacturing, a High School diploma or GED, and willingness to work overtime, including weekends. General computer skills and forklift operation are beneficial as you support a dynamic production environment.

• Willing to work overtime including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Operate batch-off and packaging for mixed compound.
• Monitor production output to maintain quality control.
• Operate barcode printer and related computer control system.
• Perform weekly cleaning of batch-off bars and dip tank and assist setup for next run.
• Ensure proper recipe loop lengths and container packaging per specs.
• Follow all safety procedures and assist in updating procedures.
