Job summary

QXO in Sanford, FL is seeking a production/assembly worker to support manufacturing operations. You will assist in assembling materials, follow supervisor directions, and perform repetitive tasks using hand tools and basic equipment.

A strong emphasis on quality, safety, and teamwork is expected. The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs (and occasional heavier pushes), and flexibility for extended hours as production demands.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, assembly, or production environments.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand tools.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally push or move up to 110 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Assist in assembling materials and components based on work instructions and specifications.
• Follow direction from supervisors or team leads to support production processes.
• Perform repetitive assembly tasks using hand tools and equipment.
• Position, align, and secure materials to meet required specifications.
• Operate basic machinery or equipment as needed and trained.
• Inspect work to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Support team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
