Job summary

Inova Fairfax Hospital is seeking an experienced ER RN leader for Northern Virginia’s only Level 1 Trauma Center. The role offers sign-on and relocation bonuses and rotates through shifts during orientation. You will lead the ER unit, model evidence-based nursing practice, and support shared governance to enhance patient care.

The hospital emphasizes safety, quality, and patient experience. The position is full-time night shift (7pm-7am) with weekend rotations.

Qualifications

• Requires at least one year of RN clinical experience.
• More than 2 years of RN clinical experience in the ED with charge or supervisory responsibilities.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• ER Unit Supervisor responsibilities: deliver highly reliable results related toQuality and Best Practices to improve clinical operation of the unit.
• Lead by example to support patient-centered care and service excellence.
• Foster teamwork and retention through strong leadership and collaborative relationships.
