Job summary

Inova Fairfax Hospital is seeking an experienced ER Unit Supervisor to lead our ER team in Northern Virginia’s only Level 1 Trauma Center. You will oversee clinical operations during the night shift and participate in orientation across shifts to ensure seamless patient care.

Qualifications

• Requires at least one year of RN clinical experience.
• BLS required.
• Licensed to practice as an RN in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
• More than 2 years of RN clinical experience in the ED with charge or supervisory responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Front line leader who is accountable for delivering highly reliable results related to quality and best practices to improve the clinical operation of the unit.
• Embraces and applies research behind nursing practice and quality tools.
• Supports unit-based shared governance and decentralized decision-making structures and processes.
• Leads by example in delivering Service Always and prioritizing patient experience on assigned units.
