Job summary

Inova Fairfax Medical Campus in Northern Virginia seeks an experienced Emergency Nurse for the region's only Level 1 Trauma Center. This full-time day shift (7am–7pm) offers three 12-hour shifts, with weekend, holiday, and call rotations. Orientation includes rotations through all shifts.

Qualifications

• Requires a minimum of one year of RN experience in acute care.
• BSN from an accredited school of nursing; if ADN then BSN within 5 years of start date.
• RN licensed or eligible to practice in Virginia as an RN.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide knowledgeable and caring clinical practice and care coordination.
• Conduct all patient care in a patient- and family-centered manner.
• Use an integrated approach toward patient outcomes.
• Utilize standards, guidelines, and pathways for care delivery.
