Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a registered nurse for the emergency department, working 7p-7a on a 36-hour schedule. A $6,000 sign-on bonus is available for external new hires, with bonuses discussed during interview. This role requires MA nursing licensure, BLS, and pathway to ACLS as required by unit policy.

Earned compensation ranges from $39.89 to $87.15 per hour based on full-time scheduling. Final offers prorate for part-time schedules and reflect experience and internal equity

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration.
• BLS certification required for RN (ACLS if applicable).
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Nursing Process from admission to discharge for patient care.
• Performs patient assessment and reassessment according to standard procedure.
• Develops and coordinates care plans including discharge planning.
• Directs and evaluates nursing care within the clinical setting.
• Documents patient care and educates patient/family as needed.
