Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department on a night shift. You will deliver and manage patient care from admission to discharge, coordinating with the care team to ensure timely, safe treatments and accurate documentation.

The role requires current Massachusetts nursing licensure and active BLS, with ACLS depending on unit. A BSN is highly preferred; a sign-on bonus up to $6,000 may apply to external new hires and is discussed during interview.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration.
• BLS is a requirement for every RN; ACLS certification current if required by unit.
• BSN highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Uses Nursing Process to deliver and manage patient care from admission to discharge.
• Performs patient assessment and reassessment per standard procedures.
• Develops and coordinates care plans including discharge planning.
• Directs and evaluates nursing care within the assigned setting.
