Job summary

WellSpan Health is seeking a Part-time Night Shift RN for WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital. The role provides patient-centered nursing care on a 12-hour night schedule, 7pm to 7:30am, with 48 hours bi-weekly and every 3rd weekend.

The RN will serve as primary nurse for assigned patients, coordinate care with other disciplines, and adhere to clinical standards while maintaining patient safety and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in nursing required or preferred.
• Current RN license upon hire required.
• BLS certification required for all areas of nursing practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate direct care following nursing process and hospital standards.
• Safely administer prescribed treatments, medications, and interventions.
• Organize and prioritize tasks based on patient condition and workload.
• Communicate patient needs for safe handoffs and care planning.
• Document patient responses and progress in the EMR with accuracy.
