  3. Initial training may involve daytime hours, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, for 10 to 52 weeks.
  4. Work is performed in a clean room environment requiring protective clothing such as smocks, hoods, booties, latex gloves, and safety glasses.
  5. Use of airline respirator may be required.
  6. Occasional use of personal protective equipment including aprons, gauntlets, and full-face masks.
  7. Standing for up to 75% of the shift is required.
  8. Lifting objects up to 50 lbs may be necessary.
  9. Work may involve hazardous gases, chemicals, and high voltage.
  10. Troubleshoot and repair electromechanical systems, including servo motors, controllers, AC and DC motors.
  11. Troubleshoot and repair electro-pneumatic systems, including valves, vacuum pumps, and pneumatic circuits.
  12. Perform scheduled and unscheduled preventive maintenance and repairs accurately and safely.

  • Cross-training in other areas is preferred.
  • Comfort handling chemicals such as acids, bases, solvents, and working with various gas systems.
  • Experience troubleshooting electrical and vacuum systems.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and use digital multimeters and voltage supplies.
  • Knowledge of semiconductor equipment is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Teamwork and collaboration skills are important.
  • Flexibility to work outside normal hours, cross-train, and multitask.
  • An Associate's Degree in Electrical or Electromechanical Technologies, military equivalent, or relevant experience is required.
