Job summary

Presbyterian Santa Fe Medical Center is hiring a PRN Housekeeper/Environmental Services Tech for night shifts. You will support a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff by performing a variety of environmental services duties according to high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, safety, and quality.

The role requires less than high school and less than one year of housekeeping experience.

Qualifications

• Less than high school required.
• Less than one year experience in housekeeping preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains all areas according to departmental standards.
• Ensures proper infection control procedures when processing linen, trash, medical waste, and performing cleaning tasks.
• Demonstrates awareness of Presbyterian Mission and Values while performing duties.
• Maintains and uses housekeeping equipment properly and safely.
• Reports pertinent information to the supervisor or appropriate authority.
• Performs departmental record keeping.
• Ensures linen and supply levels are adequate and available.
• Performs floor care as part of daily duties.
