Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital, part of Trinity Health Of New England, is seeking a dedicated Environmental Services team member for the Night Shift. This full-time role supports hospital cleanliness and patient safety in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities include receiving assignments, cleaning areas with germicidal solutions, restocking supplies, and assisting with routine tasks and preventive maintenance as needed.

Qualifications

• Six to twelve months of prior related work experience and up to three months of on-the-job training.
• No certification, registration, or licensure required.
• Ability to read and understand written instructions, perform basic math, and follow directions.
• Occasional contact with patients and visitors, which involves ordinary courtesy.

Responsibilities

• Receive cleaning assignments and request materials; transport supplies to work areas.
• Clean assigned areas using germicidal solutions; scour and polish sinks, tubs, toilets, mirrors, and equipment.
• Strip and launder beds with fresh linens, restock supplies, and dispose of refuse.
