Presbyterian Healthcare Services in Socorro, NM seeks a part-time Housekeeper to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. The role focuses on environmental services, sanitation, and adherence to safety standards to support high quality care.

Responsibilities include cleaning, linen and supply management, waste handling, and reporting to supervision. A high school completion and NM driver’s license are required; training is provided.

Qualifications

• Less than high school.
• Less than one year experience in housekeeping duties.
• Must have a current New Mexico drivers license, and must be insurable by Presbyterian Healthcare Services.

Responsabilités

• Maintains all areas according to departmental standards.
• Ensures proper infection control procedures when processing linen, trash, medical waste, and performing cleaning tasks.
• Demonstrates awareness and understanding of the PI Program, Excellence in Action, Competencies, and the Mission & Vision of SGH
• Maintains and uses housekeeping equipment properly and safely.
• Reports pertinent information to the supervisor or appropriate authority.
• Performs departmental record keeping.
• Performs all duties necessary to ensure appropriate linen and supply levels.
• Performs floor care.
