Amentum is seeking an Environmental Compliance Specialist for the Spent Fuel Handling Recapitalization Project (SFHP) at Idaho National Laboratory, Idaho Falls. The ideal candidate will have a science degree or related experience, proficiency in Excel/Word, a valid driver's license, and US citizenship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline or 3 to 5 years relevant experience in construction.
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• USA citizenship is required (no dual-citizenship).

Responsibilities

• Oversee subcontractors to ensure SFHP environmental procedures are followed during construction.
• Perform environmental inspections, audits, and field oversight of activities.
• Identify, report, and correct deficiencies to ensure compliance.
• Respond to spill incidents, wildlife observations, and waste streams as needed.
