Job summary

Pharmavite is seeking an Encapsulation Operator to run encapsulation equipment for soft gelatin capsules, ensuring quality and compliance with procedures. You will monitor production parameters, feed materials correctly, and perform changeovers between products.

Strong English, precise arithmetic, and manual dexterity are essential. You’ll work on a 2-2-3 schedule and participate in a comprehensive total rewards program including benefits and overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Fluent English to read instructions, recordkeeping and communicating problems.
• Accurate arithmetic to calculate shell/fill weights and tank run times.
• Manual dexterity to manipulate controls and use hand tools.
• Physical ability to stand/walk for long shifts and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot and fix equipment malfunctions.

Responsibilities

• Operate encapsulation equipment to produce soft gelatin capsules meeting quality standards.
• Ensure materials are correct and fed to encapsulation machinery per procedures.
• Monitor ribbon thickness, temperature, weight, and product size; adjust as needed.
• Troubleshoot equipment/process issues and resolve promptly.
• Perform changeovers between products; disassemble, clean, reassemble for next batch.
