Job summary

Pharmavite is seeking a production technician to support encapsulation operations. You will ensure materials are correctly fed to machinery, adjust controls with hand tools, and monitor key process parameters to meet specifications.

The role requires lifting and standing for long periods in a noisy manufacturing environment. Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED and 1 year of encapsulation or related experience, with fluent English and strong math skills.

Qualifications

• Fluent English to read/understand instructions and communicate issues to supervisors.
• Accurate arithmetic to calculate weights and tank run-out times.
• Manual dexterity to manipulate controls and assemble/disassemble equipment.
• Mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot and fix equipment malfunctions.

Responsibilities

• Ensures materials are correct and fed to encapsulation machinery per procedures.
• Uses hand tools to adjust equipment controls and parts as needed.
• Monitors production—ribbon thickness, temperature, weight and size of finished product.
• Troubleshoots equipment/process problems and resolves quickly.
• Performs changeovers between products; disassembles/assembles equipment and prepares for next batch.
