Job summary

Qualifications

• High school graduate.
• Typically requires 1 year experience.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and RNs with phlebotomy, patient transport, monitors, wound care, Foley catheters.
• Document care and communicate patient observations to RNs.
• Process daily charges through the EHR.
• Coordinate communications between departments and EMS.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and monitor equipment.
• Lift and move patients following safe techniques.
