Job summary

Bechtel is seeking an Emergency Services Specialist (Night shift) for the Cardinal Project in New Albany, Ohio. You will help develop and lead the project Emergency Services capability and oversee the Emergency Response Team, collaborating with ES&H professionals to execute the project plan.

The role requires night shifts, field inspections, and PPE readiness, with responsibilities spanning incident prevention, response, and documentation in a challenging construction environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree (or equivalent) in occupational safety, health, or a science-related discipline with 6+ years of relevant experience; or an Associate's degree with 8+ years; or 10+ years in Emergency Management/Response in lieu of a degree.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the project's Emergency Services Program in coordination with ES&H personnel.
• Prepare and maintain the Emergency Preparedness and Response Plan.
• Establish and operate a notification system for incidents and emergency response, and document outcomes.
• Coordinate emergency drills and exercises, and coordinate with municipal first responders.
