Job summary

Elanco, Clinton, IN, is seeking an Emergency Services Officer to join the on-site Clinton Labs Emergency Services team. You will deliver world-class asset protection, life safety, and emergency response to protect personnel and the enterprise, including fire mitigation and HazMat duties.

The role involves 12-hour night shifts (4:30pm-4:45am) with on-site responsibilities and ongoing training for incident command and safety programs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Active FF I/II, Hazmat Awareness/Ops, and EMT-B certifications preferred.
• Strong decision-making under high-stress conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary response to fires, spills, rescues, and medical incidents under incident command.
• Maintain and inspect life safety and fire protection systems and equipment.
• Manage site asset protection via perimeter checks, surveillance, and access control.
• Develop and deliver emergency response training scenarios as SME for the Emergency Response Team (ERT).
• Execute administrative and safety duties including hazard reviews, weather monitoring, and confidential site documentation.
