Job summary

Sharp HealthCare is seeking an Emergency Department EMT to assist with procedures and patient care under direction of a Registered Nurse. The role covers infants to adults, supporting RNs, PAs or physicians in a busy ED.

Must have a high school diploma, BLS, and current EMT certification with ongoing CEUs. The position offers a 12-hour shift pattern (7 PM–7:30 AM) with alternating weekends and no transfer of CNA certification requirements.

Qualifications

• Must communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to work under supervision in a fast-paced ED setting.
• Must meet physical demands of the role and patient care tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist RNs, PAs or physicians with simple procedures and patient care.
• Maintain safety, infection control, and transport patients as needed.
