Job summary

Qualifications

• MUST Graduate from an Accredited EMT program and hold a valid Florida EMT certification.
• High School diploma is required.
• Graduate from an Accredited Emergency Medical Technician program.

Responsibilities

• Responds to medical and non-emergency calls.
• Assists the paramedic in emergency care and triage.
• Loads and transports patients to a medical facility.
• Documents assessment findings for medical/nursing staff.
• Maintains supplies and keeps areas clean and orderly.
• Performs routine patient care tasks and safety duties.
