Job summary

Overlake Medical Center is seeking an Emergency Department Technician for the Bellevue Campus ED. The ED Tech assists with direct patient care under RN supervision and may perform point-of-care testing and specimen collection.

The role includes 12-hour night shifts (7 pm–7 am) part-time (0.9 FTE) with passion for excellent patient service. WA licensure as NA-C/NA-R or MA-P is needed, plus BLS and healthcare experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• WA Nursing Assistant licensure (NA-C) or NA-R considered upon hire.
• Washington MA-P licensure considered.
• BLS for Health Care Providers required.
• Minimum 1 year healthcare experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and EKG preferred.
• Computer familiarity is preferred.
• Must read/write/speak English.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under RN supervision across ages.
• May perform waived and moderately complex point of care testing per protocol.
• Obtain blood samples and transport specimens for testing.
• Handle hospital equipment and maintain records.
• Deliver attentive customer service and clear communication.
