Job summary

Overlake Medical Center is seeking an Emergency Department Technician for the Bellevue Campus ED. This part-time, .9 FTE role supports direct patient care under RN supervision and includes 12-hour night shifts (7 pm–7 am).

The ED handles a diverse patient population and offers opportunities for point-of-care testing and specimen handling. Qualified candidates will have WA NA-C/NA-R or WA MA-P licensure (within 90 days), BLS, and relevant health care experience.

Qualifications

• Direct patient care as part of ED team.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and basic EKG understanding.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under RN supervision.
• Obtain blood samples and transport specimens for testing.
• Assist with point-of-care testing per protocol and procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
