Job summary

Overlake Medical Center in Bellevue, WA seeks an Emergency Department Technician (ED Tech) for nights. The part-time (.6 FTE, 48 hours per 2-week pay period) ED team delivers direct patient care under RN supervision, performs POC testing, and handles specimen transport as required.

Eligible candidates include WA NA-C/NA-R or MA-P with BLS. Prior healthcare experience preferred; strong communication and teamwork are essential for this Level III Trauma Center.

Qualifications

• WA Nursing Assistant - Certified (NA-C) or WA NA Registered (NA-R) required
• Washington State Medical Assistant - Phlebotomist (MA-P) required or must obtain within 90 days
• BLS for Health Care Providers required

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under RN supervision.
• Perform waived and moderately complex point-of-care testing per protocol.
• Obtain blood samples and transport specimens as needed.
• Maintain patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality.
