Valmont is seeking Electromechanical Technicians focused on industrial electrical maintenance and troubleshooting to support manufacturing operations. You will diagnose, maintain, and repair electrical and electromechanical systems up to 480V, working with motors, controls, and power distribution as part of daily operations.

The position offers a night shift (11:00 PM–7:00 AM) with built-in pay progression, shift differential, and an annual discretionary bonus opportunity.

Formación

• Developing Electrical & Maintenance Technician
• 1+ year of industrial equipment maintenance experience
• Experience using electrical diagnostic and testing equipment
• Working knowledge of industrial electrical systems and components
• Ability to read basic electrical schematics and equipment prints
• Foundational mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills
• Performs routine electrical and equipment repairs while developing more advanced troubleshooting capabilities
• High school diploma or GED required

Responsabilidades

• Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical and electromechanical systems
• Diagnose electrical faults using meters and other testing equipment
• Maintain and repair motors, controls, relays, contactors, disconnects, transformers, sensors, and related components
• Install and service electrical equipment and components, including systems up to 480V
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment prints
• Troubleshoot production equipment to identify electrical and mechanical causes of downtime
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems as needed
• Follow lockout/tagout and established electrical safety procedures
• Document repairs and communicate equipment and safety concerns
