Valmont Group is hiring Electromechanical Technicians for a weekend shift (Fri–Sun, 6:00 AM–6:00 PM) in Brenham, Texas. The role focuses on diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing electrical and electromechanical systems up to 480V in a manufacturing setting.

Positions are offered with built-in pay progression and opportunities for wage reviews, with a discretionary bonus opportunity. Experience in motors, controls, relays, transformers, and safety procedures is required.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical and electromechanical systems.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and equipment prints.
• Diagnose electrical faults using meters and testing equipment.

Responsabilités

• Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical and electromechanical systems
• Diagnose electrical faults using meters and testing equipment
• Maintain and repair motors, controls, relays, contactors, disconnects, transformers, sensors
• Install and service electrical equipment up to 480V based on position level
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and equipment prints
• Troubleshoot production equipment to identify electrical and mechanical downtime
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance
• Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems as needed
• Follow lockout/tagout and electrical safety procedures
• Document repairs and communicate safety concerns
