Job summary

Meyer Utility Structures is seeking a safety‑oriented night shift Sr. Electrical Maintenance Technician to specialize in electrical maintenance and troubleshoot plant equipment. The role supports our industrial machinery and critical systems within a manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of related electrical maintenance experience, reads schematics, and is proficient with high voltage systems. Night shift hours and a competitive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of electrical maintenance experience in manufacturing (3 Phase 480V and below).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Experience troubleshooting and testing electrical applications and controls.
• Experience with cranes, welding, VFDs, and PLCs preferred.
• ARC Flash training/knowledge preferred.
• Night shift hours: 6 p.m. – 4:30 a.m.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical maintenance and troubleshoot equipment and electrical systems.
• Repair and install electrical systems and components on industrial machinery following schematics and manuals.
• Maintain preventative maintenance records in CMMS.
• Inspect cranes and lifting equipment regularly.
• Coordinate with contractors for equipment installation and repairs.
• Maintain documentation and parts inventory for maintenance activities.
• Follow all safety rules and practices.
