Valmont Industries in Brenham, TX seeks an Electromechanical Technician II to diagnose, maintain, and repair electrical and electromechanical systems supporting manufacturing operations. You will work with motors, controls, and 480V equipment, following safety procedures and quality standards.

The role includes a weekend/4th shift: Fri–Sun 6:00 AM–6:00 PM, with potential overtime. Benefits include built-in pay progression, wage reviews, and an annual discretionary bonus opportunity.

Qualifications

• Industrial electrical troubleshooting and diagnostics.
• Experience with 480V systems and motor controls.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Experience with motors, relays, contactors, transformers, and sensing components.

Responsabilités

• Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical and electromechanical systems.
• Diagnose electrical faults using meters and testing equipment.
• Maintain and repair motors, controls, relays, contactors, disconnects, transformers, sensors, and related components.
• Install and service electrical equipment and components up to 480V, as qualified.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment prints.
• Troubleshoot production equipment to identify electrical and mechanical downtime causes.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems as needed.
