Job summary

Jabil in North Carolina is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service and repair electro-mechanical manufacturing equipment. You will troubleshoot, perform preventive maintenance, calibrate using test gear, and document outcomes.

The role requires English communication, hands-on repair skills, and experience with automated equipment in a factory setting. Night shifts are 12 hours with a two-on/two-off pattern and weekends alternating.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and communicate in English.
• Extensive troubleshooting knowledge for electro‑mechanical equipment.
• Experience with maintenance of automated manufacturing equipment.
• Proficient with basic and special‑purpose tools and calibration gear.
• Familiarity with maintenance tracking programs.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot non-functioning electro‑mechanical equipment in production.
• Repair and assemble equipment per blueprints or manuals.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and document results.
• Calibrate equipment using test and calibration instruments.
• Source parts and communicate with suppliers for repairs.
• Maintain backup data for critical production software.
