Job summary

Qualifications

• AS in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent certification.
• 1–2 years of experience troubleshooting automated production equipment using PLCs.
• Ability to read schematics and use drawings, specifications, and charts.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot assembly automation equipment.
• Repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic or hydraulic systems.
• Perform maintenance on robotic and automated equipment.
• Set up assembly lines and assist pre-production runs.
• Install new automated equipment and relocate equipment as needed.
• Create and edit robot programs; update manuals and programs.
• Maintain accurate activity reports for each equipment.
• Provide input to engineering on machine improvements.
• Support safety and quality programs.
• Other duties as assigned.
