Job summary

Jabil is seeking a maintenance technician for a 12-hour night shift (2-2-3, 645pm - 7am) to plan and perform assembly of complex robotic and equipment from instructions, and to lay out mechanical and electrical schematics.

The role involves diagnosing and repairing automated production equipment, programming and troubleshooting PLCs, and updating robot programs and manuals. Requires AS in Mechatronics or related field and 1–2 years experience.

Qualifications

• AS in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent
• 1–2 years troubleshooting automated production equipment with PLCs
• Ability to read schematic drawings and charts

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot assembly automation equipment
• Repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, or hydraulic systems
• Perform preventive maintenance on robotic equipment
• Set up and operate pre-production lines
• Install new automated equipment and move existing equipment
• Create and edit robot programs; update manuals
• Maintain accurate activity records and reports
• Provide input for machine improvements and safety programs
