Job summary
Howmet Aerospace Inc. in Dover, NJ is seeking an Electrician A for the Dover Casting group. The Midnight shift runs Sunday night through Thursday night (10:30 PM–7:00 AM); 1st shift training (M-F 6:30 AM–3:00 PM) is provided.
Starting hourly rate is $38.04 with increases after 12 months. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available after 90 days for external candidates. Responsibilities include maintaining electrical systems, wiring, and equipment, following building codes, and ensuring safety
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 4 years in a manufacturing electrician role.
- Experience with PLCs, VFDs, controls and safety procedures preferred.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and install electrical systems and equipment per supervision and codes.
- Inspect circuits for shielding, grounding and safety compliance; rewire as needed.
- Troubleshoot and repair PLC inputs/outputs and analog signals.
- Support training of junior electricians and assist with mechanical maintenance when needed.
