Howmet Aerospace Inc. is hiring for an Advanced Manufacturing Workcell Production Worker in Dover, New Jersey. This on‑site role supports a nocturnal 11pm–7am shift (Sun–Thu), with training on the 1st shift (Mon–Fri, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM).
New hire starting hourly rate is $25.66; after 12 months $28.31. A shift premium applies off‑shift; comprehensive benefits are provided. Located at 9 Roy Street, Dover, this position focuses on water jets, multi‑axis CNCs, grinders, and surface finish inspection,
Qualifications
- Reading blueprints and interpretation of specs.
- Experience with CNC equipment and high‑quality finishes.
- Familiarity with milling high‑performance superalloys.
- 1–3 years in manufacturing/engineering environments.
Responsibilities
- Must run Water Jets; 4/5 Axis CNCs; Rise and fall grinders; Super polish.
- Load/setup tooling and fixtures; load castings into nests and verify fitment.
- Set up and operate vibratory equipment.
- Inspect surface finish with profilometer per job instructions.
- Perform 100% inspection as required; identify fixture and tooling wear.
