Job summary

Howmet Aerospace is seeking two Automation Technicians to join the Dover Casting group in Dover, New Jersey. The Midnight shift runs Sunday night to Thursday night 10:30 PM–7:00 AM; training will occur on day shift for several months.

Qualifications

• Understanding of robotic arms, controllers, end of arm tools, electrical circuits, mechanical equipment, pneumatics, hydraulics, and programming of the various controllers and robots.
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not available for this position.

Responsibilities

• Program and maintain robotic finishing and manufacturing equipment.
• Review manuals, blueprints, and schematics to determine tasks; understand robot inputs/outputs and the binary system.
• Maintain and improve reliability and productivity of robotic equipment.
• Document and program code for manufacturing robots.
• Lead as SPA for robotic equipment and process operations.
• Document automation processes throughout the lifecycle.
