Job summary

Howmet Aerospace is seeking two Automation Technicians to join the Dover Casting group in Dover, New Jersey. The Midnight shift runs Sunday night to Thursday night 10:30 PM–7:00 AM; training will occur on day shift for several months.

Anticipated pay range is $28.00–$31.00 per hour with a shift premium off-shift. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including paid vacation, holidays, 401(k) with company match, medical/dental/vision, life insurance, EAP, tuition assistance and a free fitness

Qualifications

Understanding of robotic arms, controllers, end of arm tools, electrical circuits, mechanical equipment, pneumatics, hydraulics, and programming of the various controllers and robots.
Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not available for this position.

Responsibilities

Program and maintain robotic finishing and manufacturing equipment.
Review manuals, blueprints, and schematics to determine tasks; understand robot inputs/outputs and the binary system.
Maintain and improve reliability and productivity of robotic equipment.
Document and program code for manufacturing robots.
Lead as SPA for robotic equipment and process operations.
Document automation processes throughout the lifecycle.
