Job summary

Howmet Aerospace is seeking a Packer for its Dover, New Jersey casting facility on the Midnight shift (Sun-Thu, 10:30 PM–7:00 AM). Training on the Day shift (Mon-Fri, 6:30 AM–2:30 PM) is provided. Starting hourly rate is $24.24, rising to $26.96 after 12 months, with a shift premium for off-shift work. Benefits include health, retirement, and more.

Employees must be eligible to work in the US; no visa sponsorship. Location is on-site and interviews may require background checks.

Qualifications

• This position requires legal authorization to work in the United States with no Visa sponsorship provided.
• No relocation benefit; candidates within 50 miles of Dover NJ will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Receive castings and verify the lot ticket and required inspections.
• Sort castings by heat numbers, alloy numbers, and cavity numbers.
• Package marked castings into compartmented shipping containers.
• Coordinate with supervisor to ensure accuracy of prior operations and resolve discrepancies.
• Route castings to X-ray or other testing as directed by the supervisor.
