Job summary

Eaton Corporation in Santa Ana, CA is seeking an Electrical Test Technician for the 3rd shift. The role focuses on testing and modifying post-production electrical equipment and inspecting functions before shipment. The position offers a 32.5-hour full-time week with potential overtime and a shift from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM.

Hourly rate is $29.80 with a $3.00 shift premium per hour. Benefits and 401k are provided from day one. Applicants must be in the U.S.

Qualifications

Requires High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
2 years of experience in electrical test or related electronic technologies, preferably in manufacturing.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Perform system tests, including IR and dielectric testing, and complete written test reports, logs and records.
Troubleshoot AC/DC circuitry and PCAs to the component level.
Assemble, set up programs and perform functional tests on circuit boards.
Organize work by receiving work requests and studying wiring diagrams and specs.
Operate test equipment such as meters, transformers, load banks and infrared cameras.
